How to Identify Your GE Code List Version

Open the battery compartment on the back of your GE remote. Locate the white sticker. Look for CL3, CL4, CL5, or CL6 printed on the label.

GE Direct Code Entry Method

  1. Press and hold down the SETUP button until the red indicator light remains ON.
  2. Press and release the device button (TV, cbl/sat, or dvd/aux). The red light will blink once and remain on.
  3. Enter the 4-digit code for your TV brand.
  4. If the code is valid, the red light turns off. Test Power, Volume, and Menu buttons.
