Initial Ink Tank Filling & Charging
- Open ink tank cover on the right side of the unit.
- Fill Black (BK), Cyan (C), Magenta (M), and Yellow (Y) tanks to the upper fill line using keyed auto-stop bottles.
- Close covers, plug in power, and turn ON the printer.
- When prompted, press and hold the Help (?) / OK button for 5 seconds to start the 10-minute ink charging process.
Control Panel & Error Indicator Codes

| E-01 | Paper Jam / Carriage Obstruction | Open scanner unit and remove jammed paper or packing tape. |
| E-02 | Scanner Unit Open | Close the upper scanner bed firmly. |
| Wi-Fi Light Flashing | Wi-Fi Connection Lost | Run WPS setup or reconnect via Epson Smart Panel mobile app. |
Nozzle Cleaning Maintenance
Navigate to Maintenance → Print Head Nozzle Check. If lines are broken, select Head Cleaning. For severe clogs, perform a Power Cleaning after waiting 12 hours between standard cleaning cycles.
